    Education Networks of America, Inc. (ENA) is seeking an experienced CatchOn Direct Sales Representative, West to join our family.


    The CatchOn Direct Sales Representative, West is responsible for prospecting, developing, and closing CatchOn business via phone, email, and face-to-face meetings to achieve revenue objectives.  The CatchOn Direct Sales Representative will focus on education markets (K-12) in assigned territory and will have ownership of any leads (within territory) generated from various referrals, Marketing initiatives, and customer events.  Guiding all efforts will be a focus on ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction with CatchOn and ENA’s products and services. 


    Primary Responsibilities

    • Understand assigned territory in terms of student populations, school districts, state educational organizations, etc. Utilize various tools and information sources to gather meaningful data, analyze, and assess that data for potential opportunity. Develop target states, school districts, organizations, etc.
    • Gather key contacts in appropriate roles (such as curriculum director and technical director) by title and name/contact info using available tools.
    • Generate target contact lists for prospecting.
    • Participate in applicable ENA supported education conferences, as requested by Marketing or management, and work closely with Marketing on initiatives to drive net new opportunities.
    • Work with Marketing on outreach communications and other awareness initiatives to generate leads.
    • Create opportunities in the Customer Relations Management system and maintain all records to ensure accurate pipeline management.
    • Follow-up on any leads from the Marketing campaigns, customer events, emails to CatchOn, etc.
    • Advance leads by identifying customer pain points and sharing how CatchOn can address those pain points (understand and communicate the CatchOn value proposition).
    • Be skilled in giving CatchOn product demonstrations, including delivering presentations via a video conference tool (ENA Video Collaboration Powered By Zoom).
    • If qualified, establish a CatchOn trial/pilot with the prospect.
    • Generate pricing proposal; address any issues and competition.
    • Advance the opportunity to closure and help the extended team as needed to have a successful solution deployment.
    • Conduct customer maintenance and communication activities working in unison with the CatchOn Customer Success Manager (CSM) to ensure renewal of CatchOn subscriptions.
    • Work collaboratively within ENA to reinforce cross-departmental teamwork to deliver timely, comprehensive solutions for our customers.
    • Ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction and customer retention.
    • Have the skills to conduct conference session presentations and confidently speak to a live audience.


    The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience plus at least 5 years outside sales experience in the software industry, preferably in the K-12 market.  Working knowledge and experience using standard office suite solutions including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and CRM tool(s) is required.  Working knowledge of online meeting tools is preferred (such as Zoom or GoToMeeting).


    A proven history of working autonomously, being self-motivated, and working effectively from a home-based office is required.


    Ability to communicate effectively, professionally, and cordially in person, via phone, and via email.  Ability to efficiently write solution overviews, proposals, generate financial justification, and other appropriate communications.


    This position will be located in Southern California and will require travel for opportunities within territory, customer events, and occasional ENA internal meetings.  Meetings requiring travel will account for approximately 50% of the time, with some trips requiring overnight stays.
