    We are accepting internal applications for the Associate Systems Administrator role until November 7, 2018.


    The Associate Systems Administrator provides first level technical support to end-users both in office and remote locations.  This position will be:

    • Serves as the first point of contact for internal customer support for onsite and remote employees. This includes responding, providing resolution, and documenting requests received via e-mail, phone, and ticketing. 
    • Setup new employees in the proper systems and with the proper equipment.
    • Track and update all assets (servers, desktops, laptops, software, etc.) by employee, using established procedures.  Catalog and escalate warranty related items to maintenance providers to restore or replace hardware to working order in a timely manner.
    • Complete quarterly inventory of end user hardware and peripherals.
    • Ensure corporate devices are secure and running the latest antivirus protection and other security protocols are being followed.
    • Identify support trends and create or update self-help documentation for users to support their workstations without having to engage IS directly.
    • Consistently seek ways to improve and automate systems and processes to better meet business requirements.


    Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 1+ years’ experience working in a helpdesk or similar customer service position.  In addition, candidates should have experience in the following areas:

    • Foundational knowledge of network connectivity and basic Internet protocols such as SMTP, DNS, and HTTP
    • Basic understanding of the Linux / Open Source Unix environment including command line experience with grep, ssh, or scripting
    • Foundational knowledge of HTML and web browsers
    • Experience performing hardware and software installation, configuration, and repair to Windows PC devices is expected with Apple knowledge preferred.
    • Experience supporting the MS Office or Office365 suite, and other common corporate software applications


    This position is required to perform on-call duties to support our internal customers. Travel in this position is minimal.
