    Education Networks of America, Inc. (ENA) is seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team.

    Responsibilities

    Education Networks of America, Inc. (ENA) is seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team.

     

    The Senior DevOps Engineer is responsible for collaboratively building upon ENA’s cutting-edge infrastructure platform to support the company’s portfolio of customer facing applications and services. This role will have direct input into how ENA scales, secures, and monitors our systems and services throughout the entire portfolio.

    Qualifications

    This position requires a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a technical field, with proven quantitative skills or equivalent experience; eight or more years of related experience in working in a production environment on cross-functional teams.  Candidates must have proven experience and skill in interfacing with all facets of the organization and project management experience in working directly with technical staff in designing, building, and implementing creative, results-oriented solutions.

     

    A deep level of technical knowledge for a variety of engineering concepts, practices, and procedures is required. This role requires communication skills and strategic experience of positioning the business for success through the use of technology. Prior experience required in vendor analysis and selection when architecting technology solutions. RHCE, LPIC or equivalent certification(s) a plus.

     

    In addition, experience and a familiarity with some of the following is required:

    • Configuration management and automation tools like Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Salt, Packer, Nomad and Terraform.
    • Scripting & automation tools such as in PHP, PERL, PYTHON, GOLANG, and BASH shell scripts.
    • Configuring monitoring and metrics gathering systems like Icinga, Prometheus, CloudWatch, Nagios, Elastic APM, and others.
    • Linux Containers (Docker) and Virtualization (KVM and VMWare).
    • Networking protocols TCP/IP, DNS, TLS, IPSEC, etc.
    • Working knowledge of SQL
    • Familiarity with Service Discovery applications like Consul or Zookeeper is a plus

    This position requires approximately 20% travel throughout our customer base.  This position is based out of our Nashville, TN office.
